At Le Couvent, life happened upstairs. The ground floor was waiting. We left it as it was: stone walls, volume, daylight. No imposed set. A space that takes the shape of what you bring — a set, a backdrop, a collection rail — and closes at night on a house where people sleep well.

The loft hosts photo shoots (fashion, lookbook, portrait, product) and film shoots (commercials, music videos, fiction, corporate), by the half-day or full day. A film crew needs two things: a location and a bed. Here, both are in the same building — the loft works as a set, a dressing room or a technical base, while the suites house the crew, within walking distance of Le Panier and the Old Port.

The building, whose history dates back to the 17th century, was a royal foundry before becoming the property of the Jesuit order. After a complete rehabilitation, the upper floors now house Le Couvent's suites. The ground floor was left raw: stone walls, volume, light. The building has changed its purpose, not its soul.

- Slots: morning 8am-1pm, afternoon 2pm-7pm, full day 8am-6pm. Extension until 11pm available as an option (up to 4 extra hours after 7pm). - Set-up and take-down included in the slot (photo 30 min / 30 min, film 1h30 / 1h). - Maximum crew: 10 people for photo shoots, 25 for film shoots. - Non-smoking house, loft included. - The space is returned clean and tidy; any extra cleaning is charged at cost. - Suites are occupied upstairs: please keep amplified music and loud noise to a minimum.
